Community for Sustainable Energy advocates for local sustainable energy policy that promotes economic health, social prosperity, and environmental protection in Colorado. CforSE works on campaigns to improve energy efficiency, transportation systems, speed the adoption of available renewable energy, and push utilities to explore new frontiers in sustainable energy technology.

CforSE employs door to door canvassing, contacting thousands of Colorado residents every year, to raise public awareness of local energy issues and to organize citizen support. CforSE generates letters from members to decision makers to encourage the implementation of clean, smart energy technology and policy. CforSE now represents over 40,000 contributing members across Colorado (20,000 in Fort Collins).
